The Mag Drive model 140 Water Pump is a magnetically driven submersible or in-line pump with broad application. It consists of a power unit (encased in waterproof epoxy) that creates a magnetic field which drives its powerful ceramic/magnetic impeller. This unique design is extremely energy-efficient, using only half the power of conventional pumps. And with the ceramic/magnetic impeller being the only moving part, there aren't any seals to replace.

Originally conceived as a circulating pump for fresh and salt water aquariums, the Mag-Drive 140 is adaptable to a variety of applications. Besides being the pump of choice for aquatic gardening, it is ideal for pool and pond maintenance, and aquatic filtration for fish tanks, ponds, fountains and statuaries - being safe for all these uses. The Mag Drive is perfect also for wet/dry filters, protein skimmers, or almost any Hydroponic, Aeroponic or any form of Aquatic application.
